Accelerating economic development through training and partnership

With Africa’s growing population and need for a developing economy, we provide training and the resources to get small scale start ups moving in the right direction.

Our approach

By partnering with charities and NGOs already invested in communities, we seek to add another service. To coach members of the community for work or entrepreneurship. By equipping people with the right mindset and the skills to go and earn a living, they walk with a confidence knowing that we are with them as they bring economic growth and stability to their own little communities.

Our reason

Africa is expected to increase population to 2.5 billion people by 2050*. The continent of Africa currently has the highest poverty rate per capita, with 489 million people living in extreme poverty* (less than 1.90 US dollars per day). With a growing population and limited work opportunities, youth employment programs and entrepreneurship coaching available there will be a significant demand on resources. We believe investing resources in microeconomics across the continent can bring the change the people of Africa deserve to live out.

Our Partners and supporters

Bestrateo were influential in helping Valley Orchard Group sert up operations in Senegal. With the aim of rapid growth and operational efficiency, Bestrateo consulted in onboarding procedure and policies. This involved internal communication around development of values, mission and processes.

The work of Valley Orchard Group would not have started without Mercy Ships. The business origins began in 2022 by piloting the entrepreneurship training and recruitment efforts with the local workers who supported Mercy Ships in Senegal. Since then, Mercy Ships have been paramount in supporting and funding our continued work in Senegal, West Africa.
